this is a large sardoyx art cameo with a well carved scene of a greek goddess, her dog, and cupid. It is a darker brown back ground and a creamy white and obviously carved by a master of torre del greco Italy. The shell cameo sits in a very unusual hand made setting of white metal with hand cut marcasites all around with a good pin back. This is an art cameo and highly detailed
